Benefits of Hot Yoga

Increased Mobility.

Core Stability & Balance.

Functional Strength.

Injury Mitigation.

Initially the heat can seem overwhelming, but after acclimation you will find that it is quite soothing. That heat produces more sweat and sweat is one of the most important mechanisms of natural healing. Heat adds the element of cardio and aids the body in releasing toxins, metabolic debris and excess fluids. Allow at least 3 to 5 classes to fully acclimate.

The heat will also help you to build and maintain fluidity to your movements as your muscles soften. Soothing to the joints, it aids in injury mitigation and allows for deeper stretching and flexibility.

Through a regular yoga practice, over time, you may find a reduction in weight, anxiety, depression, digestive issues, general fatigue and inflammation. You may also notice and increase balance, posture, improved sleep, brain/neurological function, cardiovascular health and body awareness.

We offer: Power Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin (deep stretch/floor work), Candlelight, and various others. Private sessions also available.

Is hot yoga for you?

It is designed to be challenging on many levels. It is a practice for life. Be prepared to face spaces of mental and physical discomfort, just as you would in LIFE.

If you are new to hot yoga, you should first check with your healthcare provider if you have any health concerns. If you’re new to hot yoga, we suggest trying on HotRestore or SloFlow, and as always :

Listen to your body!
